Spring Bioinformatics Seminar

The Graduate/Undergraduate Bioinformatics Seminar course, is organized by Prof. Sandra Rodriguez-Zas and Prof. Gustavo Caetano-Anolles as part of the UIUC graduate bioinformatics program. This seminar series focuses on research in the field of bioinformatics and computational biology. In this course, students present research or primary literature in a short seminar format (15-25 minutes in length) with discussions following their presentations. Presentations typically focus on, but are not limited to, phylogenetic reconstruction, protein structure, SNPs and polymorphisms, and medical informatics.
